Airport Tycoon 2 Badges

Airport Tycoon 2 publishes thirteen official Roblox badges on universe 10241000620. That list is the closest thing to a 100% checklist the developers shipped. This page is the compact table. The narrative route that spends cash in the right order is the walkthrough. Do not mix in Fat Whale island trophies, 2 Player Airport Tycoon plates, or 2003 PC achievements.

Play order, not API order

The API returns badges in creation time. Play them in this spine so you do not farm 100 flights on a one-lane closet:

2. Upgrades, People! — any category upgrade.
3. Snack Tax — first amenity.
4. Line Buster — second security lane.
5. Where To Next? — first destination.
6. Room for More — first expansion. Cash after Update 5, not Star Tokens.
7. VIP Passenger — first Legendary guest.
8. Frequent Flyer — 25 flights.
9. You’ve Been Around — 100 flights.
10. First Rebirth or Terminally Successful — a fork, not a ladder.
11. Perfectionist — max every upgrade category.
12. Ultimate Airport — max every rebirth token node.

Read the win rates as a difficulty hint, not a prize table. Badges do not print extra cash. They mark that a system exists.

What the numbers actually say

Almost everyone who stays past the tutorial owns Takeoff!, Snack Tax, Line Buster, and Where To Next?. Those four are Freebies on the Roblox page. If you are missing Line Buster, you are not “bad at tycoons” — you have not bought the second rope. That is the highest-value click in the first hour.

Room for More at 92% means a slice of players never expand. After Update 5 the pad is cash. Empty marble still does not print tickets, so expand when two scanners clip or a second gate has no floor, not because the button sparkles. Parking-lot Robux prompts are optional and are not this badge.

VIP Passenger at 94% is luck plus throughput. Stack Premium/Plus +15% luck, a fountain around +10% in playthroughs, later rebirth luck, and the VIP pass +50% luck if you pay. Hire TSA after two lanes so you can leave the magnetometer without starving Legendaries.

First Rebirth vs Terminally Successful is the interesting fork. More accounts have First Rebirth (636k) than Terminally Successful (377k), but the rebirth win rate is only 4.5% while “complete the tycoon” sits near 33%. People who rebirth do it on purpose; people who finish the layout are a larger share of those who keep playing. You can do either first. The rebirth planner is for the 150k button. The walkthrough Act 3 is for the layout ending.

You’ve Been Around (100 flights) has more awards than Terminally Successful because time plus offline earnings will land 100 departures on a healthy save even if you never max the last statue. Do not sit at the gate clicking a seven-seat starter plane to force it.

Perfectionist (~9%) is “max every category,” including vanity. Do it on a floor plan you like. Ultimate Airport (~0.1%, ~4.9k players) is maxing the rebirth token tree, not the cash shop. VIP’s exclusive line is treated in videos as 2× tokens. That pass is ranked on game passes.

Co-op and accounts

Update 6 co-op shares a save profile. Roblox badges still award per account. If your partner scanned Line Buster on the shared file and your badge did not pop, reproduce the purchase on a short solo file or make sure you were in the server when the pad confirmed. Do not secretly rebirth during someone else’s Perfectionist grind.

What badges will not do

• They will not unlock codes. Store can still be empty in September 2026.
• They will not replace a second scanner, a destination, or a plane you can fill.
• They will not transfer from Fat Whale’s 2019 island game.
• They will not auto-complete when you inject a GUI. Scripts that fake badge pops are a ban path, not a shortcut.

World 2

The Roblox event widget still advertised MASSIVE UPDATE: WORLD 2 and a winter airport around Sunday 13 September 2026, 1:00 PM. As of 12 September 2026 the live listing still led with Update 6 co-op. If a winter-only badge appears, it will be added here and on World 2. Until then, treat snow as extra destinations and amenities on top of this thirteen-row table.
