Airport Tycoon 2 Tier Lists
Rank throughput, ticket value, and dwell spending — not logo flex.
Tier lists for Airport Tycoon 2 only make sense if you rank what prints cash. A gold globe fountain looks S-tier in screenshots and still fails if one scanner feeds it. This hub splits the game into three lists that match how the terminal actually pays:
- Planes — capacity versus cost after the queue exists.
- Amenities — Snack Tax through restaurants and statement fountains.
- Destinations — pick chance times ticket value.
Passenger rarities live under players because a Legendary guest is not a building. Luck is a multiplier across all three lists.
How we grade
S. Fixes a bottleneck you already have (second lane, first destination, first snack). A. Raises average ticket or dwell without starving the queue. B. Fine after S/A are owned. C. Cosmetic-first or too much cash for the slot it fills. D. Common trap — huge jet, no seats, no luck.
We do not publish fake decimal DPS. Official numbers we do have: friend +10%, Premium/Plus +15% money / +15% luck, group like +1,000, first rebirth around 150k, example destination $80 at 27% pick. Everything else is ordered from badges, playthroughs, and the listing.
Early game board
S: first amenity, second security lane, first destination. A: seating / fountain that holds people, cheapest plane that actually boards. B: extra amenity (restaurant after snacks). C: expansion when the floor is not full yet. D: rebirth on a naked plot, jumbo jet, paid luck before lanes.
That board is the Getting Started route in list form. The money guide explains why ticket mix beats fuselage.
Mid game board
S: luck (including rebirth) once lanes work; destinations with high ticket and real pick chance. A: extra gates after Room for More; restaurants; a plane that matches curb wait time. B: duplicate amenities for pathing. C: leaderboard cosmetics. D: auto-farm scripts that target the wrong place ID.
Using the three child lists together
If planes feel weak, check destinations and legendaries before you upgrade the hangar. If amenities “only make $8,” check whether anyone reaches them after security. If destinations never get picked, you bought a trophy city. Cross-link is the point of this hub.
Co-op pairs should assign one person to the amenity/destination shop and one to lanes so the tier list is not a committee argument in Store.
World 2 will add winter-themed rows. We will not guess snow-jet names. Until they exist, use these lists on the current sunny concourse.
Codes do not change tiers. A cash drop from the codes hub is just a faster purchase of whatever already sits in S.
Read one child page next — start with amenities if you are new, destinations if tickets feel stuck, planes if the curb is overflowing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What should I upgrade first according to the tier list?
First amenity, second security lane, first destination. Planes come after the queue is healthy.
Are these ranks official?
No. They are fan rankings based on badges, listing bonuses, and current playthroughs of the 2026 Roblox game.
Will World 2 reset the tiers?
New winter destinations and amenities will get their own rows. Core S-tier still starts with lanes and snacks.
Where do Legendary passengers fit?
They are a player/luck topic on the Legendary page, not a buildable tier.
